This is handmade by me, from birch felled, sawn and dried here in Gjerdsbakkane. Wood was once sawn at our old saw which stood here earlier. It also has a "living edge", where the inside of the birch against the epoxy is from the outside of the tree trunk, so you get a nice flow through with a nice edge in the wood against the epoxy.
The wooden board is molded with an epoxy inlay, which is liquid plastic, when it dries it becomes hard plastic and food safe. The epoxy on this board is blue with some shine in it.
The tray is treated with Finishing oil which is food safe, so the tray can be safely used to serve food on. I would not recommend using this for a cutting board, as it will naturally get scratches and damage easily.
