Bree is the main village in Bree-lands and the most western, the settlement of people in the whole of Midgard. They have survived for several thousand years, and after Arnor's fall have been self-governed and protected by brave people and of course the rangers whom the people of Bri called Aragorn's people.
Here, humans, hobbits and sometimes dwarves lived together, and had little knowledge of the darkness that hides further south.
