"Once upon a time, a couple of people had a son, and his name was Halvor. From the time he was a little boy, he never wanted to do anything else, but just sat and raked in the ashes. He sent his parents away in many kinds of teachings; but Halvor didn't stop anywhere, because when he had been gone for a few days, he escaped, ran home and sat down in the cave to dig in the ashes again."
