Our 3D Printers: Efficient Tools for All Projects
We use two types of 3D printers to meet different needs:
FDM Printer: Bambu Lab P1P
The Bambu Lab P1P is our preferred FDM printer for larger prints such as terrain and buildings. It combines high precision with low material costs, making it ideal for both hobby use and more advanced projects. With built-in features such as automatic calibration and high printing speed, it is both user-friendly and efficient.
Resin Printer: Anycubic Mono X2
For detailed miniatures and models, we use the Anycubic Mono X2. This resin printer has a large build plate and is easy to calibrate, making it highly suitable for complex and precise prints. Although post-processing requires both washing and curing, the result delivers impressive details and an excellent surface finish.
The Materials We Use: Quality and Reliability
PLA+ from eSun
For FDM prints, we use PLA+ filament from eSun. This material is known for being strong, easy to use, and available in many colors. It is a popular choice among 3D enthusiasts, and there is a lot of good information and pre-made print profiles available online.
Fast ABS-Like Resin from Siraya Tech
For resin prints, we prefer Fast ABS-Like Resin from Siraya Tech, particularly in the colors Creamy and Navy Grey. This resin is low-viscosity, fast to print with, and delivers excellent details. Although it is slightly more expensive than other resin types, it provides excellent quality for the price.
Post-Processing: Anycubic Wash & Cure
To simplify the post-processing of resin prints, we use Anycubic Wash & Cure. This machine combines washing and curing in one, making the process faster and less messy. An invaluable tool for anyone working with resin-based 3D printing.
