I was so lucky to find these small wooden boats in a second-hand shop in Ulsteinvik. The shop owner had acquired them from the estate of an old man whose hobby was carving wooden boats. I wanted to create these small dioramas without altering the work he put into the boats, but rather to showcase them. Being able to incorporate his craftsmanship into something small I made gives me so much joy.
